SUMMER WORKOUT
To all Field Hockey Players:
The 2010 Summer workout is now available on this site!
The workout is set to begin on July 5th and goes right up to
the first day of preseason! As you can see on the calendar,
Monday and Wednesdays will be your Strength Training days, along
with Abs and a distance run. Tuesdays and Thursdays are
Plyometrics and Speed/Agility. Saturday is your interval run
day, while Friday and Sunday are your rest days. Be sure to push
yourself throughout this workout. For example, if starting out
at 1/2 mile run on July 5th is easy for you, bump it up and keep
increasing each week throughout the summer! Grab a friend and do
this together...it's always good to have some motivation. By
following this workout, you will be prepared for the Fall 2010

Blizzards
Rochester Blizzards is the local field hockey club team. Coach
is Peggy Smith Lewis, former coach at Mendon and now at Brighton.
This is the time of year for new girl sign up. She invites any
interested players to come and check out a Blizzard practice at
Fairport Village Sports the next couple weeks or in January.
(schedule on Blizzard website) The fee for now through next fall
is $250. This covers almost weekly year round practice/games and
multiple opportunities for tournament play, etc. For more
